The project consists in the renovation of an apartment located in an historical villa typical of the province of como. The idea of tackling the historical tradition is treated through the construction of space elements that clearly reveal their contemporaneity although great attention is given to the materials used: iron. Wood, iron, beton brut are juxtaposed to stuccos and frescos and are treated with great naturalness and clarity. A vast suspended platform-cum-open-plan kitchen, overlooking the living area and the existing fireplace, is the heart of the apartments where the contemporary living style is staged.
