The completed renovated building overlooks the main street in the historic district in San Felice Circeo. From the entrance, at the ground flloor, one can see the stariway with its four flights. the living area is located on two top flloors, from which one can enjoy the view of Cape Circeo. The flights of the stairs are a narration made of glances freed by the use of transparency. The challenge was to combine modern materials with elements belonging to the mediterranean tradition. Natural light with its reflections on surfaces left white is the key-note of the project. Even facades have been renovated getting rid of all recent superfetation which didn’t match the style of the building and of the rest of the historic district.
